OUR TEACHERS
Our teachers are nurturing, friendly, and passionate about encouraging childhood education. They are also well qualified: more than 80% have at least one teaching qualification, whereas the Ministry of Education requires only 50% of ECE teachers to be formally qualified.
WHAT WE GET UP TO
Each day our children create, play and discover in our inspiring preschool environment. We offer a range of activities to appeal to our mixed-age sessions, incorporating natural materials and outdoor experiences as much as possible.
We are a community based early learning centre in East Auckland educating 2 to 5-year olds for over 50 years. The preschool years are crucial to a child's lifelong development, so we understand that choosing an early learning centre for your child is an important decision. We believe in holistic early childhood education that encourages every child’s emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth.Our people providing daycare work with small groups of children to explore and build on ideas. “We encourage children’s natural curiosity and guide them to learn and discover more each day so they can become confident, resourceful, imaginative, life-long learners”.We know how important it is for YOU to develop relationships with the people taking care of your little ones. We encourage whanau involvement, regular newsletters, and fun events.Our mixed-age childcare centre provides a place of connection and collaboration, allowing our younger children to be inspired and challenged by the older children, while our older ones learn to share their skills and take responsibility for others.
